MHRMI Calls for Immediate Action to Secure the Candidacy of Macedonian-Canadian Politician Dan Masin
MHRMI Calls for Immediate Action to Secure the Candidacy of Macedonian-Canadian Politician Dan Masin
Macedonian Human Rights Movement International calls on Macedonians in Canada to join our support of Dan Masin, a proud Macedonian-Canadian, who is seeking candidacy in the Ontario riding of Markham-Stouffville. A proud Macedonian voice is urgently needed in Canadian Parliament in order to advocate for Macedonians and demand an end to Canada's appalling anti-Macedonian policies. As is the case throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Macedonians make up a large percentage of inhabitants in the riding of Markham-Stouffville, and we are specifically calling on them to take immediate action — the first step is to sign up for party membership so that a vote can be cast in support of Dan Masin's candidacy. Saying You're Macedonian Is Not Enough
Saying You're Macedonian Is Not Enough
You need to take action. Otherwise, everything Macedonian will continue to be given away to those who want us eradicated. You'll be forever known as a "North Macedonian" from "North Macedonia" — terms specifically designed to eradicate our name, identity, culture, heritage, language, and history. Saying you're Macedonian is not enough. Simply attending Macedonian events is not enough. Complaining about the brutality of the past several years without taking action is not enough.  Macedonian Human Rights Movement International does not stand idly by. We've been leading the Macedonian cause for almost four decades, with concrete human rights projects throughout all of partitioned Macedonia and international lobbying for our name and rights.
Foreign Minister of Regime in Macedonia Invents Excuse to Avoid Court Hearing for Defamation
Foreign Minister of Regime in Macedonia Invents Excuse to Avoid Court Hearing for Defamation
The foreign minister of the regime in Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, invented an excuse, for the third time, to avoid a court hearing against him on December 26, 2023 for violations of the Law on Civil Liability for Insult and Defamation. The first two occurrences were on May 29, 2023 and September 15, 2023. Each time Osmani claimed "unavoidable obligations", despite knowing, well in advance, of the court dates. The latter two were scheduled to be the final hearings in the lawsuit brought by Macedonian Human Rights Movement International and its president, Bill Nicholov. Osmani slandered MHRMI and Nicholov because of their activism in defending rights of Macedonians, in this case, the severely oppressed Macedonian minority in Bulgaria — a tactic frequently used by the regime and its US government backers.

MHRMI Condemns European Commission's Hypocrisy in Issuing Country Report on the Republic of Macedonia
Macedonian Human Rights Movement International (MHRMI) condemns the hypocrisy by the European Commission (EC) in issuing its recent country report on the Republic of Macedonia and its "state of democracy, rule of law, and human rights". The gross human rights violations committed by the regime in Macedonia — only some of which are outlined in the report — are encouraged, enabled, directed and committed by the very organization that authored the report, and led by the United States.

Judgement Announced in MHRMI/Nicholov Lawsuit Against US-Controlled Media Outlet in Macedonia
Macedonian Human Rights Movement International (MHRMI) and its President, Bill Nicholov, filed lawsuits for insult and defamation against Bujar Osmani, foreign minister of the regime in Macedonia, and 360 Degrees, a media outlet controlled and funded by the United States. Osmani and 360 Degrees are highly critical — and routinely defame — those who condemn U.S. anti-Macedonian policies and crackdown on human rights and civil liberties.
