Attacks against Macedonians have increased exponentially in an effort to permanently eradicate our name, identity, and human rights — and our ability and right to identify as who we’ve always been, Macedonian. This affects us all, in the Republic of Macedonia, throughout the rest of partitioned Macedonia, and even worldwide.

Because of the forced name change and other ongoing anti-Macedonian negotiations and treaties, our enemies are using lawsuits to try to achieve their goal — our eradication.

But Macedonian Human Rights Movement International has successfully defended against these lawsuits and continue to launch our own through multiple domestic and international courts in order to immediately and permanently reverse the forced name change and all anti-Macedonian negotiations and treaties, and to secure our human rights and cement our right to exist.

These lawsuits are in addition to the successes we have already achieved, including over a dozen victories at the European Court of Human Rights in defence of Macedonians throughout the Balkans.
