Posters Spread Demanding Return of Macedonia’s Name in Response to Billboard Companies' Fear of Running MHRMI Name Campaign

Macedonian Human Rights Movement International's ongoing campaign and demand for the return of Macedonia's name include billboards exposing the Macedonian government’s refusal to follow Macedonian and international law, but companies are afraid of repercussions from the government if they run the campaign. See our press release here.

The VMRO-DPMNE led government continues to obey US orders to not reverse the illegal name change, imposed by the United States in support of Greece’s campaign of cultural genocide against Macedonians. See background information on the forced name change here.

Refusing to be intimidated and in response to the billboard companies’ inaction, Macedonians continue to spread posters throughout the country demanding the return of Macedonia's name. Click for a selection of photos with the new billboard design (1, 2, 3), with more to be added to our social media pages (links below).

To join the campaign and help distribute the posters, download a print quality version here or here, or contact us to arrange printing. Download an online version here to share on social media.
