Addressing the crowd at a Macedonian event in Toronto last month, Liberal Party of Canada MP Rob Oliphant referred to the Republic of Macedonia with the highly derogatory term “North Macedonia” - a term used to negate Macedonia's name, identity and history and which glorifies the recent US-led forced name change on the Republic of Macedonia.

The Macedonian Association "Ilinden" - Tirana finds as unacceptable the publication and promotion of the book "Bulgarians in Albania" by Spas Tashev, under the logo of the European People's Party, which spreads lies and slanders about the Macedonians in Albania, declaring them to be "Bulgarians".

...And this is how Macedonian politicians, from both major parties, have always governed the Republic of Macedonia – with no balls. It's painfully obvious that they should have never played the game. You can't win by just playing defence – eventually the other team will score, and they will score a lot. And Macedonian politicians have played the game so poorly, they not only made their own team (the Republic of Macedonia) lose, they've taken all of Macedonia's partitioned territory – and all Macedonians, past, present and future – down with them.
