The UN's “Human Rights Day” is a Celebration of Hypocrisy
The UN's “Human Rights Day” is a Celebration of Hypocrisy
If one believed the UN’s rhetoric (and ridiculous "#StandUp4HumanRights" hashtag), one would expect the UN to denounce, not assist, Greece in its quest to annihilate the existence of Macedonians’ ethnic identity. But both ended up getting their wish —Macedonia’s name was forcibly and illegally changed, using brutal tactics, and despite mass opposition by the Macedonian people.

The Crisis in Macedonia - It's Way Past Time to Step Up
We all respond in a crisis. We all respond when someone is in need. But how about when your entire ethnic group is in need? Other groups respond vocally and immediately. But do Macedonians? Unfortunately, nowhere near the level that is needed. MHRMI is different. We've been at the forefront of defending Macedonians for over 30 years. Join us.

Biden Will Make America “Normal” Again
Biden Will Make America “Normal” Again
Unless Trump and his enablers prevent it, Joe Biden will become president and he will Make America Normal Again — for America. The world will continue to suffer. But not just because of Trump and his policies — in addition to them. Both US political parties have been wreaking havoc on the world stage for decades, and Joe Biden has been right in the middle of it for decades. To prevent typical political punditry from painting my criticism of Biden as “support for the other guy” — I hate Donald Trump. His racism, sexism, cartoonish idiocy…I could go on. And I have. Hit me up on Twitter to see. And read some of my articles.
The EU Must Reprimand – Not Enable – Bulgaria and Greece for Anti-Macedonian Racism
The EU Must Reprimand – Not Enable – Bulgaria and Greece for Anti-Macedonian Racism
Following the lead of fellow EU member-state Greece, which imposed its own demands on Macedonia including the forced name change, Bulgaria is demanding that Macedonia and Macedonians rewrite their history, change their identity, declare that they are “originally Bulgarian", that their language is a "Bulgarian dialect" and completely abandon the Macedonian minority in Bulgaria. Moreover, and also contrary to all historical facts, it demands that Macedonia formally accept Bulgaria's revisionist history that Bulgaria, an ally of Hitler and the occupying power in Macedonia, was "not responsible for the deportation of over 7,000 Macedonian Jews to the Treblinka death camp". If these demands aren't met, Bulgaria pledged to veto Macedonia's EU membership bid. EU Spokesperson Ana Pisonero responded:
Press Freedom Under Attack in Macedonia
Press Freedom Under Attack in Macedonia
Macedonian Human Rights Movement International condemns the continued persecution and intimidation of journalists in the Republic of Macedonia. Critics of the Zoran Zaev regime continually face threats and criminal proceedings, including Aleksandar Mitovski, editor of the Infomax news site. Mitovski was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended over two years, for publishing key – and public – witness testimony in a racketeering scandal involving Zaev.

MHRMI Meets with Global Affairs Canada, Calls for Condemnation of the Forced Macedonia Name Change
Macedonian Human Rights Movement International President Bill Nicholov met with David Sproule and Andrew Turner, the Director General and Deputy Director of European and Eurasian Affairs for Global Affairs Canada, and called for Canada to immediately reverse its ill-advised support of the forced name change of the Republic of Macedonia. Nicholov noted that Canada's policy of “Euro-Atlantic integration” cannot be pursued at the expense of human rights, international law, and the human rights conventions to which Canada is a signatory.

MHRMI Announces Support for Macedonian-Canadian Political Candidate Dan Masin
Macedonian Human Rights Movement International calls on Macedonian-Canadians to join our support of Dan Masin, a proud Macedonian-Canadian, who is seeking candidacy in the Ontario riding of Simcoe North. Masin is running for the nomination in the Conservative Party of Canada, but MHRMI stresses that we are supporting Dan Masin as an individual, and reiterate our position that any political party that wants support from Macedonians must clearly support Macedonia's name and our Macedonian identity first.
Why Macedonians Around the World Should Care About What is Currently Happening in Macedonia
Why Macedonians Around the World Should Care About What is Currently Happening in Macedonia
Article by MHRMI supporter Biljana Saragil: An attempt to rewrite our history and change our ethnicity is underway. Are you ok with that? What is your red line? “I’m not political” or “we live in the West. Why should I care about what happens in Macedonia? It doesn’t affect me. I’m still Macedonian and I’m not going to stress about what happens in Macedonia. I only concern myself with what happens in the country I live in.”

Macedonians in Albania Strongly Condemn Bulgarian Deputy PM's Latest Statement
The Macedonian Association “Ilinden” - Tirana strongly condemns the September 9 statement by Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Krasimir Karakachanov. Referring to Macedonia, Karakachanov said: ‘You changed your name and your flag, you wil also change your history”. This is his brazen announcement that Bulgaria will block the opening of EU accession talks at the first inter-governmental conference between Macedonia and the European Union, unless Macedonia meets the conditions from the anti-Macedonian treaty concluded on August 1, 2017 to revise Macedonian history in a way that will portray Macedonians as Bulgarians, the Macedonian language as a mere Bulgarian dialect and Macedonia as part of Bulgaria.
