Americans Are Political Sheep
U.S. politicians know it, bank on it, and laugh about it. The American public willingly falls into the two-party trap and allows their politicians to commit mass murder while claiming that the United States is the world's “moral authority”.
If anyone dares point out U.S. war crimes and hypocrisy, they are immediately labelled as "anti-American" and — even more important to U.S. politicians — "anti-Semitic". It is glaringly apparent, even to the most wilfully ignorant, that U.S. politicians do Israel's bidding.
If your country claims to stand up for international law and human rights and calls on the International Criminal Court to hold perpetrators of war crimes accountable — yet is one of two "Western democracies" that is not a member of the ICC (not surprisingly, the other one isIsrael) — it should set off alarm bells for the American public. The world knows that it does not.
If your country praises the importance of the United Nations Charter and UN Declaration of Human Rights, yet vetoes every crucial human rights resolution aimed at stopping an ongoing genocide, it should set off alarm bells.
If your country claims that its enemies are violating the Geneva Convention while it is slaughtering hundreds of thousands of women and children, alarm bells...
But the U.S. anti-war movement died a long time ago and took common sense with it.
Americans, because of selfishness, laziness, stupidity, or callousness, (or a combination thereof) allow themselves to vote only for one of two genocidal political parties, then follow marching orders to "celebrate the troops" (commit mass murder), and finally, to condemn anyone opposed to said mass murder by declaring that "they hate our freedom". No, we hate serial killers.
And the U.S. is the global leader. It commits mass murder worldwide and there are a multitude of victims, including my ethnic group, Macedonians, who have experienced the wide array of U.S. genocidal tactics and are now experiencing U.S. tactics of cultural genocide. More about Macedonia here.
But Americans are notorious for expressing outrage, not at genocide but at graffiti, not at wars but words, and being and aiding oppressors. But, as per American political discourse, one cannot condemn genocide because it might hurt the feelings of the genocide perpetrator.
If one evokes the famous quote by Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel,“We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented”, Americans would take orders from their politicians (and obedient media) to condemn the use of this quote because it defends all human beings against genocide instead of only Jews.
Israel owns the United States.
AIPAC and Epstein Island are further evidence of the obvious. AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) literally buys the allegiance of U.S. politicians. The blatant pedophilia of American politicians on Epstein Island (used by Israel to blackmail them) has caused a huge uproar — but no action — by the American public. The U.S. and Israel's genocide in Palestine has finally turned many Americans against the impunity enjoyed by Israel, but no action. And the U.S./Israeli illegal, immoral, and epic failure war on Iran is drawing condemnation, but no action.
It took monumental events to evoke any kind of change in American sentiment, yet sentiment is where it ends.
So, Americans, the monumental question remains — what will it take for you to finally take action? Or are you too selfish, lazy, stupid, or callous?
