2450 Macedonians in Albania Open Radio Station August 5, 2002 2450 MACEDONIANS FROM PUSTEC GOT RADIO ON THEIR MOTHER LANGUAGE Representatives of "Prespa", Macedonian association in Albania, on the biggest Macedonian holiday opened first radio-station "Radio Pustec". The radio broadcasts experimental six-hours program on Macedonian language. It can be received by four inhabited places in Mala Prespa: Leska, Sulin, Zernovsko and Pustec. With the concert of the CUD "Biser" from Ohrid in Tirana, Macedonians who live in Albania started celebration of the two Ilindens. People gatherings were held in Korca, Pustec, Pogradec and other places in Albania. Ambassador of Macedonia, Risto Nikovski said that building of road and opening at least one border cross is need of more than 35.000 Macedonians who live in the region of Golo Brdo.
